Radiator Question

The radiator of my 1948 8N isn't matching the Master Parts Catalog. It shows a carriage bolt with washers and a nut holding the radiator on.
My radiator is held on with two bolts up through the bracketon the front end through the rubber mounting pads and directly in the bottom of the radiator. I can't find any reference to radiators mounting like this in any of the four manuals I got. What gives? Is this how they did it originally or do I have an "Almost right" radiator made offshore somewhere?
Thanks.

My 48 8n had the radiator mounted with the 2 bolts up from the bottom as well. When the water pump broke and the fan went through the radiator, I bought a used one from someone and that one had the carriage bolts. The drain was also in a different location. I guess they must come both ways, but 48 was the year that they did.

It's not a 2N. The serial number is: 8N 131343. I guess that's the way they done it back in the day.
I tried to get new bolts to mount the radiator and got two carriage bolts, washers, and nuts.
It's OK now that I found my old bolts. They weren't where I remember leaving them. I must be a CRAFT sufferer. (Can't Remember A Frickin' Thing)
Thanks for the responses.

Bob....there were four diff styles of radiators for the "N" series tractors, originally. The 9n non-pressurized with large top tank. Then there was two 2n pressurized radiators. The first 2n radiator had the mounting studs welded to the bottom tank support and used nuts.the second just had nuts welded to the support and used bolts, sounds like yours. The 8n had carriage bolts to mount the radiator. Both 2n radiators and the 8n radiator are interchangeable, just a litle diff mounting procedure. don b
