Had 2.5 inches of rain last night! Was going to move another 50x100 shed today, but the rain foiled that idea :-( When we moved the first one, we got 9 miles away from our destination and found that it had rained .04" and the 3 miles of dirt road that we had to travel was too muddy! Fortunately it dried up anough in a few hours that were able to traverse the 3 miles of dirt road, with a little help from a FWA tractor, by the time it was dark. Then that night it rained a couple of inches! So we had to wait several more days before the shed could be moved the rest of the way.

Now... more rain! This is 2 out of 2 times that rain has delayed moving these sheds :-) It is almost as if someone does not want these sheds moved :-)

Whenever people start comparing too much rain to a drought these are the type of scenarios that I like to bring up! Nobody thinks about how too much rain can mess up all kinds of things. Droughts just kill you a tiny bit every day. Floods are like a car crash! Good luck.

We're finally getting something measurable here in Mid Michigan too. We only had 1.7 from drizzles since Saturday nite, but we got a gully washer last nite, dumped 1.2. Supposed to be more on the way on through Saturday morning. Cows sure are a lot quiter with their heads to the ground eating green grass.

it has been raining here on and off since last friday. i like the rain but i need to ge stuff done! I got 6 loads of hay to unload and i can't since i have to unload outside to run it up into the barn. i really need the shed space. oh well it just means i'll have a hearty 3rd crop :D

We've had 11.5 inches of rain since last Friday . It's come as 1-2 inch rains daily so not a lot of bad flooding here . The ground is totally saturated though . Still haven't got the third cutting done but it's looking good .

Good luck getting those sheds moved !

We got a little rain yesterday finally but it is still so dry here in west central Indiana, it might as well nave not rained.
