Where ya at ?, We had about 72 drops yesterday, and my much favoured front lawn is starting to turn brownish (hey-does it every year), put a whack of work on it hoping to maintain the 'green' look - nope. Currently 28 C, clear and sunny, 68% Hugh ma diddy -VERY nice. Also the shop fridge is 'stocked'. b

Where do you live Loosehandle, I'm south East of Milton. I had 2 tenths yesterday. I agree we are pretty much done for.

It's very dry here in South East Ohio, we had 3/4" 2 weeks ago didn't lay the dust, the corn is hurting, the beans are looking fair..

My Dad"s digital rain gauge said 2/100 of an inch yesterday here in SE. WI. What corn is left should be taken care of over the next few days with highs in the 90"s predicted. I hear some dairy farmers will start chopping their corn as soon as ok"d by their insurance company

we got corn burning up and going down looks like a year of no record corn or bean yeilds around here in southwest ohio

Watched two showers pass just mile south of us as I painted on an old truck. Even the grass smells when you walk on it.

(quoted from post at 15:07:38 07/14/12) We just got 1/8 inch of rain and more looks like it will hit us tonight. At least it was something.

Wish I could help. We have a heavy T-storm right now, and I've measured 4" in 40 minutes. It's still raining. Might get 6".
