Found my next project! My Father-in-Law was a Field test engineer for Ferguson in Detriot back in the 50's-60's. He also owned a small farm in SE Mich. The factory built a proto type tractor from "spare parts", which my father-in-law ended up with. He sold it in the 60's. The man who bought it recently passed away, and I bought it from the estate! Now it's back home! Here's my dilemma,I'm not sure how to restore. The tractor still runs like a top! Here are a few facts:
F-40 serial # on the dash.
Yellow paint on the Z134 motor
Silver/Gray paint on trans (3+2)
Yellow paint on diff.
Red Sheet metal with MF 50 decals. Excellent shape.
38" rear tires with extentions on the fenders to clear the tires.
Single spool Hydro valve in front of the seat.
If I remeber right. this tractor will do 30+ mph on the road. However, that was 45 years ago. When I get it off the trailer I will send pic's. This is going to be fun! BTW, I finished my 52-TO 30. I'll through a picture of it in too.
