its not running still setting on the engine stand . it will be pulling in march . d i would rather watch him ride a bored out 500cc 2 stroke

INTERESTING I never saw a age rating on size of cc recommendation always thought it was skill level.

yes there is an age limit on cc i think it's under 16 is 90cc an anything over that is 16yrs of agr an older it's printed in owners manual an usually on the machine warning labels

So if he is old enough to ride a 125 then he is old enough for a 500 if i read that right so why did you even bother posting about age having anything to do with it.da

Back in the 90s i ran a kx 500 with a anaheim big bore kit bosen rad valve and reeds pro cicuit pipe krause chains and sidewinder sprockets we had to drill and tap the side of the jug for a compression release so I could kick start the thing with the big bore kit . It was a good poker run and hill bike . most motor cross tracks were to little a 125 wide open would run just as quick on shorts moto tracks but in the poker runs the tt and xr 600s didnt have a chance. Bikes like that have to be respected they have the power to body slam a rider in any gear at any time.
