And no where to go. The weather is keeping us out of the fields, but no where close to pull

We are in central Illinois. Raining on and off all weekend. Rain coming down now. We did get all the corn planted, still have 500 or 600 acres of beans left to plant.

About the same around here in swMn Travis, most of the corn done but quite a few soybeans to be planted yet. We haven't been real wet, just a quarter inch here and there with no drying weather between. We got around a half an inch since Fri. night with a good chance of more tonight and Tues. I heard reports of up to 3 inches last night around Sioux Falls which is 50 miles south of us. I'd like to get going again but I guess I better not complain as our subsoil is still dry with a long summer ahead. Our rains usually get pretty hard to come by from late June until around the 10th of August and even that isn't guaranteed.

We have had plenty of rain around here, seems to come an inch or 2 at a time, about once a week. We had a little dry spell if you want to call it that last week. Everyone around here went like hell to get the corn in. We got started on beans and the rains started again. I'm ready to get some pulling in thats for sure

Pulled in central Ga. this weekend and the weather was the best, got home and good here also.Guess the Good Lord has a special thing to for the Vet's this weekend

Beckemeyer Sat and Greenville Sunday. Can't be a 100 miles from you Il. isn't that big. I'm going to try to make them. Vic

Beckemeyer starts at 9:00 Am for antiques USAP rules. Don't know when Greenville starts, but has USAP rules also. I think farm stocks start at 11:00 Both of Cale's sleds will be there.
