recovering a seat

Is it possible to get farmall seats recovered without having to buy a whole new seat. I need to get my rail type seat from a model A recovered in the original silver canvas type covering.

Complete new seats are available, or if you don't want to spend that much, a slip on cover in the original silver fabric can be had for around $30.

I should have done my research before replying.

I am pretty sure Darrell Darst does seat recovering. At least he used to .

His e mail is Farmall 130 @ socket.net.

He is the president of the IH collectors

Got mine at K & M for my SA. They show a rail, rod, and four bolt type so one of them should work.

A Farmall A should probably have a black seat instead of silver. I read somwhere recently that the silver seats didn't come till around 1952.
Darrell Darst can do both black and silver.

This is a 1952 Super AV that I am working on. It was my fathers tractor and he was the original owner. It has been stored inside all these years. The seat is the original. It is a gray canvas type material but it is dry rotted. That"s the reason I am looking for gray (Silver?) canvas. Thnks for all the help.
