I was told that John Deere produced a red BO or BR from the factory. Is this true and if it is how many did they make? Thank you much. RW

You could special order about any color as I understand it. I know city's and county's ordered lots of Yellow or Orange. Or you can do it yourself.

I don't think records were kept on different colors. Never heard anyone talk about one or post anything about them.

I have seen a green M farmall on here one time. Its like changing the colors of the American flag.

Up until the 30 series came out in 1973 you could order red as a color. After that yellow and orange where the only special order colors. This is just what I have been told by some of the Waterloo guys.

One of the big horse farms around Lexington, KY. had all their buildings white with red roofs. They wanted JD tractors but for them to take them they had to Red. Dealer friend said he remembers seeing trail car loads of Red JD tractors go to them.

Here is a white BR that was bought by the city of Waterloo if I remember right. It was displayed at the Collector's Center in Moline. Pretty sure it was painted white at the factory.

YT won't let me post a full link to the Keller collection... but it is at antique farming dot com slash farmshow-keller2 dot html

That "B" was painted by a International Harvester dealer back in the day when it was taken in on a trade (or so I was told years ago)
