When pulling the cylinder head on my 1600 diesel, I struggled with nearly all the copper return line nuts being rounded over. To change the nuts, it looks like I would need to cut and flare the pipes and then they would be too short.
What does everyone do for replacements? Could i just use some copper-nickel (easy bending) brake line, flare and new nuts? Not a single one of the lines has a nut that is not rounded over.
