Replacement copper diesel return lines

When pulling the cylinder head on my 1600 diesel, I struggled with nearly all the copper return line nuts being rounded over. To change the nuts, it looks like I would need to cut and flare the pipes and then they would be too short.

What does everyone do for replacements? Could i just use some copper-nickel (easy bending) brake line, flare and new nuts? Not a single one of the lines has a nut that is not rounded over.

Yes you can use the nickle/copper easy
bend line. I have done 3 tractors now,
completely all new fuel lines with it. It
works good any gives you that little
extra flex ability when installing the
lines. You may have to give an extra bend
or adjustment when installing, it makes
it very nice for that. I just fished a
set on a 1800. Amazon is the cheapest
for 25'ft rolls and fittings. I also use
a hydraulic flating tool makes life way
easier!
