Replacing a pushrod tube ?

Can a pushrod tube be replaced on a B head without removing the head?

I personally do not know. It seems to me I read an article on this forum saying they can. Check the 'Archives'. HTH

John Deere made a tool to do this. Borrowed the tool from a old dealer and replaced the tubes in by 35 B. Don't remember the number of tool.

Yes they can. Tap the tubes with a fine thread tap and insert a threaded rod. Use a pipe over the tube and washers and nut to pull the tube out. Ron Mn.
