After Dad"s passing in 1992 Mom gave his TO30 to my brother. Last year he asked me to help him clean it up and try to get it back to decent shape. We"ve been working on it since September and have made quite a bit of progress. I hope it turns out as well as my last one. Here"s a couple of pics of our progress. I"ll try to post more when we get done

Sorry about the pics. Hope this works

Super good job. I hope to get mine done this year. Also what primer and finish paint did you use. How long did it take to clean it up to prime. Can you give a little run down on how you cleaned it up to prime. Did you have all repairs and oil leaks repaired befor painting.

Actually the paint is Ferguson Grey from TSC. We used Rustoleum primer. We took it down to the main housings. Each piece was primed and painted before we started putting it back together. We started on it the 4th of November but I was also working on the Super A in front of the fergy. Here is a couple pics of that one too. Thanks for the compliments.

Mike, I am curious about what kind of gauges you have used in your restoration. Richard L and I have been on the hunt for correct ones for years now. Your work looks excellent. John

John, The guages on this one came from our local NAPA store. They had a set that was 3 guages on a chrome plate for under the dash on a car. It had the amp, oil and temperture with the therocouple. They look almost exactly like the original. Thanks for the compliment, Mike
