I bought 6 weights for $60. The seller didn't know what they came off from..I think they are IH weights I'm not sure....any ideas? I'm thinking of making my own weight bar for the front of the tractor...any do's or don'ts when making a rack? Thanks.

Some of the pullers on the board should have some good sugestions. The only suggestion from me is to make it strong. The neighbor had a rock box bolted to the front weights on a 1566 and he lost the whole works while plowing. Ended up under the belly of the tractor and they had to dig everything out from under with a spade. Can't remember if the oil pan was damaged, but it sounds likely. Jim

They are after market copy of an IH weight. I bought a 1000 lbs brand new from my local IH dealer at 1/2 the cost of used IH weghts. No complaints on my end about them at all.
