Richmond ky joke

This was the biggest joke I have ever seen in my life at a tractor pull or what the wanted to call a pull you don"t stop running to sleds because you want to let the track to cool down and because you still have people coming in and the after all that try and start a fight that you would have not won. This man right here will never be back. Casey Greenlee

They weren't worried about the 3 to 5 mph pullers and the sign up for classes was a joke. I don't mind $30 a class but charging $10 a day to get in is wrong, who do you think put on the show?

Sounds like this pull was a JOKE . They want your money then screw you out of it . You dont let the track cool down . Whats that all about ?

We came home second day because my work made me but wasn't pleased with pull Fri ,stopped one track to pull the big bad class and then it took forever to get all run and ended up get out of there super late. Didn't care for the lineup either cause the middle classes are asked to jump sled to sled and at same Times. Also I ran a certain distance announced n it was wrote down different well on my camera on tractor and friends wrote down distance I'd got forth and won big money instead nothing but bad taste cause I questioned it with no results. Think I've decided to stay home for now on ,jmho I can go closer n more often for the money Lee blandford

That was the most unorganized pull I've been too they stop 8, 12mph sled for hours for stupid reasons trying to hold people there, the 3 and 5 mph classes they did not know what classes they we're going to run on what sled just made stuff up as they go had friends there that didn't get to hook the first time until way up in the night we ended up just leaving all they was worried about was getting your money that was my first and last time I will ever go there

In all fairness the promoter Tom tried hard to make a good pull his problem was his ....... head
manager that tried to run the pull does not have a clue how to run an antique pull plus bad attitude........ hope tom gets this squared away.
antiques and smokers are two different things

The big sled was the best run drop pan sleds I have ever pulled. Around here they think they have to stop everybody at the same distance so they hammer you. BUT..... the rest of the deal with dragging there feet all day then getting in a big hurry at the end and being mad that everyone wasn't moving fast enough for them

What was the fight about towards the end of the pull I was loading tractors and missed the most exciting part of the pull.

it actually isnt drop pan, it appears to be from the outside. my back pan cylinders are in a float mode for antiques. the weight of the box counterbalances enough to retract the cylinders at starting line. Richmond? i know this: i ran as hard as i could to expidite the show and did my best to get decent footages for you pullers.thank you all, cale mahnke

That is a good pulling sled and you did a good job the people putting the pull on did not know how to put a pull on it could have been over a lot sooner and everyone could of went home at a decent time there was no need in pausing the pull for what ever reason

you have the best sled I have ever pulled. I think there are some things that could be improved but Tom was man enough to go around and tell us what was going on. I must have left before the fight.

By no means was this a sleds fault. The problem was the promoter shutting down your sled.

The easy way to fix that pull and I told Tom that: 3 mph on one side, 5 mph on the other side. Mix in the faster tractors through the weights. If people want to pull 3 mph and 5 mph, then you have to work a little extra if you get caught between the two.

Honestly, getting told, we're running 7000 5mph as soon as you get here, then telling me I need to run 5500 5mph, I had enough. I'd been there for 10 hours waiting to pull. Them trying to speed things up at the end was a terrible decision and left the pullers in a bad spot. Switching tracks back and forth at the end just to benefit them was a selfish decision. If they were going to do that, they should have done it when they had one sled sitting still. Then they should have moved the 5mph tractors over to track 2. Thanks to Ben Centers for helping me throw weights off. First time I met the guy and really appreciated him helping me out.

The track cool down was the biggest joke of all. There was no problem with heat in the track. I've pulled in Texas when it's 100* outside. Do you think the track was hot then? Your dang right it was hot. What does that have to do with anything. It was just another excuse to slow things down.

Unorganized for sure. I don't like that Mischoffer sled but he did a good job running it. Cale's performance was like always - best around. Great track and great facility - but I wont go back if the same people are running it and its set up the same way. We are there to pull tractors, not enjoy a 2 day side show. 5 tractors came out from our group of friends and I doubt any of us come back if its anything like it was this year.

Why did Cecil and the Blue Grass Antique club stop running the show? Or did they still have an hand in things?

I have been there in past years, missed this one due to weather and other constraints. It was always a good pull years past, but from the posts kind of happy I missed this one.

Pull was put on by Battle of the Blue Grass Series, Tom McConnell. BGAP, Cecil or any of its members had nothing to do with it. I prepared the track and furnished all the track equipment. Kind of wish I had missed this one myself. Willie Willis Richmond KY. 859.661.0412

Bobby I think you are a fine gentlemen but I don't know how you can say any thing good about that pull.
