right operator manual for 830

case ih site lists a large number of operator manuals for this tractor but does not specify the difference in them. tractor tag says: model 841 serial 82679**. It is a draft o matic, comfort king, standard trans, gasoline.

if anyone could provide correct publication number i would appreciate it.

My 830 operators manual covers all the 730/830 Draft-O-Matic Comfort kings in gasoline, diesel and propane, COM and manual trans. I got it from Ebay. The only number it has on it is 9-1562, which isn't listed. (and the price: $0.50) 9-852 on the site looks like it might be a possibility, but with NO details given, it's hard to be sure. I have a feeling they've re-written some of the manuals to lump the round-fenders in with the CKs.

I have been looking for one as well. I have model 741 CK Gas. Be careful, I read on these posts once that the Diesel is different from the gas. I really don't know for sure.

I inquired at a Case/IH dealer and the parts man said the correct part number is 9-1566, cost $28.

I checked Case/IH web sight, under parts & service, click on "operator manuals", then click on "order manuals and catalogs right here, in the model/keyword(s) box type 830, don't fill in the other boxes. The sixth manual down will be #9-1566, and the cost listed is $19.86. Be aware it doesn't always bring up the listing. If it doesn't appear simply type in the number 830 again and submit.
