Roller rockers

Has anybody have an experiances with murphy's john deere unstyled A roller rockers? Any horsepower increases or any other advantages?

used them in a late A worked good in that guys have dynod them with stock engine claim to get 4 horse

Cheapest hp you can buy is ratio rockers I can cut and weld your stock ones and save you 200 bucks and get the same results

on a bone-stock late B, how will the high-ratio rockers affect low-rpm torque? will it still lug down good or will it fall down @ low rpms? any experience like that? been thinking about some for it but its my everyday workhorse & lawnmower so its gotta be reliable, efficient & user-friendly still. Thanks!

if it falls due to the inrease in duration .just advance the cam and run a looser lash on the exhaust valve .

i dont believe the duration changes, only the lift? the bump in the cam lobe is still the same width (duration) the valve just opens farther, faster, because it closes at the same time.

Duration will change slighty because of the quicker and steeper opening/closing rates, the valve open time is greater from any point after initial opening when a higher ratio rocker is used.

IN YOUR OPINION THEN I SHOULD GET A LITTLE EXTRA IF ALL I DO IS ROCKERS? MAYBE CLEAN UP INTAKE TOO. STOCK JD 50, NEW 14.9X38 NON CUT FIRESTONES ON 14" RIMS. ONLY PULL DEAD WT 5500-6500 AND DO PRETTY WELL. THANKS DAVE 1-989-620-0441
