Dave Jr. just informed me that Ron passed away. Please keep Ron and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. In this time of blessings and remembrance, it is a blessing to have known him.

Ron was from Star City Indiana he pulled a Farmall M and an Allis That both ran very good both were Baker engines. He also had a very good running Moline. Ron was in the middle of building a hot farm tractor. I traveled all over to pulls with him when he was able to pull. Ron was my best friend that I had and would help anyone out that needed it. He will be dearly missed by the Thompson Family.

I"m sorry to hear that dave. Its hard to lose a friend, let alone a best friend. I know you spoke highly of him and his allis when we were at Corunna.

Ron was a very good guy. I sold my tractor last summer and
Ron called me and said he was bringing his M Farmall for me
to pull for the fall and winter. Not to many people would
have done this. Its to bad I didnt have a chance to thank Ron.
THANK YOU RON

I worked for Ron part time after work this fall to help out while he was sick. Not only was i an employee at Zeiders, but i was also very close with Ron. He was like a father to me. He loved tractor pulling with all of you. It always brought a smile to his face, like he did to me. It's hard to believe that someone as good hearted as Ron is no longer with us...But God only takes the best. Keep the family in your prayers as they go through this difficult time. I can just hear the UB now pullin' in heaven!
