round baler question

Hi all, i have a new idea 486 round baler that i have had a couple years. works good, but i seem to get alot of hay that gets inbetween the belts on the back of the baler. sometimes it's short little pieces sometimes longer pieces. so far, all i do is pull it out and rebale it, but i'm wondering if something is wearing that i should know about. t hanks for the help
