Row Buster Plow

I have a Row Buster. Had Clinton motor on it .Motor shot and the clutch. Can I put Briggs on it ? What type of clutch or what make??
Thank you.
Ps. A RowBuster is a one wheel plow. Believe made by Carter Bros. Mfg. In Alabama. No reply from them.

I have one, too. There is another company, Maxim, that has made them, and might make another run of them. Google them, or plow hoss. Carter's factory burned down, after a jewish lightning bolt, July '10, if I remember right. Mine is a carter, and has a briggs 5 hp gear reduced motor. Hope to have it running, soon.

Can someone post the model number of the briggs engine. Mine is not legible, I know the reducer is a 5557221 and the crank is a 555722, but idk what the base model number is for the engine.

I have a mind to try to swap the crank out of my old cub cadet tiller and slap it on the row buster and find a used Honda GX to our on the tiller, or an more recent briggs

What is a Jewish lightning bolt?

Don't know what it is. Only engine driven garden tool I ever had is a Merry Tiller. I have several tools. It has a 3 HP Briggs. Dad bought one in the early 60's but I believe mine is a '52. I picked up a sickle bar mower, rotary mower, cart, drive wheels, plow and cultivator over the years at farm auctions....James
