JB weld works wonders on manifolds. I've used it with great success. amazing stuff.

Braze it or they also make a 2 part stuff just for manifold etc. Sort of like JB weld but made just for exhaust systems

You are hoping to get lucky with a cheap and easy fix twice in a row?
1st purchase new points because the old ones won't last with the silver layer worn/cut/burned off.
Brazing is just a patch job on the exhaust for situations when the machine has to operate for a few days until parts arrive. The entire old manifold is thin and rotten.
Its time to spring for a gasket, a set of bolds, some high temp anti-seize and a new manifold. A new and quiet muffler of quality design too.
