S.I.P. Meeting

all nice and good but nobody showed up to pull in farmstock one , their is not much difference between 3and 4 mph,as loose as our tracks are i dont think you even need cut tires what we need is more open class tractors to pull and lower gas prices so guys can afford to go to pulls if pulls wore on sunday instead of saturday maybe working man would be able to go to pull

No definite classes last year for anyone to show up for FS#1 reg. tires. They are not going to come unless they know there is a class for them to pull in. Mod. 4mph. not going to bring back guy's that didnt want to top cut their tires and new pullers that can compete in 3mph. reg. tire class. 4mph. guy's don't want to full cut their tires, just need to stay with top cut and let the open class tractors do there thing. S.I.P. never was USAP.

The meeting is in Tilden and will start at Als not sure but lunch and meeting will proably be at fire dept hall.Maybe it should be USAP all the way.Leroy

I rember a lot of stock tractors at Tamora. Some pulls the class an rules are up to sporsonrs so talk to them to try and get classes you would like to pull. When I hire a sled I am juist hireing him not his rules. If you talk the sponser into some classes that you like to pull make sure you get as many tractors as posable to pull that class. If the numbers are there the class will catch on and you will see it more often.Leroy

A lot of tractors that are pulling farm stock top cut would proably pull 5MP full cut.I dont think you will get enough tracors in open to make a class. We have open any gear any speed and we dont get that many hookers in that class. The spectors like it.Casey has a full cut with 15.5X 38 full cuts 3.5 mile per hour and they proably average 10tractors per class.Juist food for though.Leroy

If all of the open class tractors would pull in the open classes instead of the Farm classes it wood be better at any rules.

WE agree stay with FS.2 4mph top cut classes. Only hope for new pullers is to add FA.1 3mph unaltered tire classes. Something for everybody, everbody is happy.

Just a couple of thoughts. I have no porblem with the fs1 class you are thinking about. I have no problem with fs2. I would like to see a set of rules on paper to try and stop some of the crying. I wish some of you guys would relise we are a show, and if we put on a boring show no one will come and watch. People like watching slow and easy, but they realy like fast and loud. Just look at how many people come to watch at Freeburge and the Island. With that said I wish we could run a little faster rpm"s in mod and also maybe run turbos on 59 and older. Or even up the years a little. What would it hurt. If you dont have a newer tractor to run it wont hurt you. Just stay in the class you are in now. If we dont do something to bring the people in, no one will have us come to the place anymore to put on a show.
