I spotted this '46 VAC at a consignment auction site. Don't know when they will be having a sale. Engine is stuck. What is it worth as it sits?

Not exactly what we'd call "knee deep in rubber", is it? No way to get it up to snuff for less than it would bring when you're done, and no special features to make it more appealing.

I concur with Harvey- $239.18

I bought one very much like that for $150 a few years ago, but it didn't have fenders or the belt pulley so I concur too on the 239.18

Now here's a thought ... if it has been sitting for some time { I'll say it has }
The engine could be stuck ... or the brakes are rusted tight { by the tire marks , it was slide in place } or the clutch is stuck to the engine flywheel and not releasing..
I say this because BOTH wheels slide ...
I'm no expert on this , just my 2 cents ....

............... mark

Air up the tires, wire the grill up a bit, fresh gas, a new battery, fresh coat of paint, and you have yourself an $800 tractor.

Those are the rewarding ones to rescue. Actually it looks to be in pretty good shape. Of course it would get expensive by the time you were done, but fun.

I've paid upwards of $300 for one in that shape, mainly depends on the rear rims at this point. Rims solid and engine turns, $4-500. Judging by the slide marks either the brakes are stuck or more than likely since those brakes were very crappy there's water in the rear end and it's froze. Had a VAC-14 for salvage that had so much water in it the axle tubes split open. It's a 1946 which puts it at the old style engine/manifold/governor setup.

There are 2 Minnie Mo's sitting there that have been there through several sales. I don't know who they belong to, but apparently he wants more than the buyers are willing to bid. That is all I know.

Cherokee, Iowa. 2 blocks north of main on east side of US 59. Like I said, I'm not sure when their next sale is, but when I find out I'll post it if you would like. Dale PS I was thinking if I could snag that VAC cheap enough, maybe it would be a source of parts for my running VAC. My front rims are in pretty bad shape.
