Sad Day

I dnot know if yall remember him but he was a good man and a true friend that knew these John Deeres KLS70. He died today in a tractor accident when he was bushoging the road ditch with his favorite 4020 with canopy. It was a steep ditch and it rolled over on him and it crushed him. Sad Day I will miss you KLS70.

Tragic. I went back and read his 3020,4020,4010 posts. KLS70 was a decent fellow.
We should all be warned by this and be more aware and careful.

An awful tragedy.

It's still a sore spot inside of JD that the necessity of a seat belt to work with the ROPS was not recognized sooner.

Sad day indeed.................

He told me in a post the other day that he'd worked for John Deere for 40 yrs. and had retired but still had people bringing him tractors to work on.................seemed like he enjoyed working on equipment and had a lot of real life experience operating it as well.........

Tragic as it is, KSL70 losing his life in an incident such as this provides a small consolation..........he passed while doing something he loved..............

He did work for the JD dealer for a many of years. People brought his tractor to him to fix a many of time. He will be laid to rest Monday and his wife decided on a tombstone with two 4020s on it. Im going to drive there tonight to get there in the morning. 500 mile dive to see him the last time. RIP
