(quoted from post at 18:26:21 11/28/22) An attempt was made on me where I had an F20 listed for sale on Facebook. Beware

I dunno how you could expect NOT to have attempted scammers contacting you when posting an ad on bookface???

Comes with the territory. Saying someone tried to scam you on Facebook is like saying the sun comes up in the morning.

It does not matter where you try to sell, there are scammers. The only way to avoid scammers is to not sell anything at all.

I sell a bunch of stuff on Facebook, never an issue. I do have the occasional scammer trying to buy, but usually easy enough to see them for what they are. Where else can you sell stuff!? Craigslist is useless. No one reads print ads any more.

Term is usually used by folks on other social media platforms!! Lol. Facebook is a great tool, if you stay out of the drama. There are great groups dedicated to any and all tractors. Fast answers to questions.

(quoted from post at 07:35:28 11/29/22) What is Bookface?

Facebook is the only thing going for now to sell something. All the other sites are pretty much worthless. Scammers have ruined them and they are working on Facebook. Best thing to do is ignore them and you are safe. If they ask you to email them back!!! Dont!! All they want is your e mail address. They ant buying anything!! Just my 2 cents!
