Am looking for 12V sealed beam bulbs. I know steiner and oem have them but are very pricey. I didn't know if there other places at a cheaper price or other options for replacement bulbs. Any info would help. Thanks

I tried our local NAPA and was told they could not get them. Didn't know if Auto Zone or similar would have them

Our NAPA stocks them-less than $10 ea.Your napa store can get them.they just dont want to mess with 'farm stuff'!

If its IH tractors in the mid fifties. Venders selling the ones with a original look know you can't get them everywhere. You can find the lights with a sealed beam that can be installed at a low price. They just won't look or wire up just the same and may need a piece ground off to set flat in the housing.

how does water get in these bulbs? i have 1 with water in it and cant get it out. if it got in it must go out. right?

Yes, they are VERY pricey. I think I may have 1 or 2 of the 6 volt sealed beams, but I am sold out of the 12 volts. The last 12 volt sealed beam I had was priced at $39.50. Not enough demand for me to keep them in stock at those prices.

Did you look on Amazon or bulbs.com?? Amazon has PAR 46 and PAR 38 12V tractor bulbs for less than $10 from GE. I get mine from NAPA--but I get the Piper Cub landing lights that fit just fine in my 140 equipped with 80 Amp Hitachi alt.

Those bulbs will not readily fit the flat-back sealed beams that were standard on the Super H, Super M, 300, 400, 350, and 450. If you are doing an authentic restoration, only the high priced bulbs will fill the bill.
