Sears Suburban 12 Tractor

[Lori S]

I am looking for a solid state magneto and a transformer assembly for a Sears Suburban 12 Tractor. It has a Tecumseh engine, model number 917.25520, serial number 8249 08164.

Lori, all the lawn tractor experts hang out on the lawn tractor board, below. Might want to post there for good results. Tom

The parts are no longer available new. Some businesses part out tractors like that and sell the parts on Ebay. But solid state ignition parts bring high dollars. I am thinking about a 12 volt retrofit from www.overnight-solutions.com. Also, you might have your old parts repaired. See www.home.earthlink.net//~edstoller
