Spent a couple hours this evening alternating between the disc
and box scraper leveling out a large area in the pasture where a
building had been cut into part of a hill years ago. I borrowed
my friend's Ford 5000 loader to break up the hill and "rough
level" the area a few weeks ago, and finished the job with the N
tonight.
Halfway through, I happened to notice the oil pressure bouncing
off of zero, so I shut her down and added some oil. Lesson
learned: check the oil level before starting up! This tractor burns
some oil and I've used it pretty hard this spring, so there you go.
It was a nice evening to be workin' an N here in the Middle West.
