Cnt looks good like to see them cases protected in a shed they look good. Only to problems Why didnt they make quicktach feeder houses on them machines would have made life much easier. We have thought about trying to make one out of a spare one and i see chaff on the back axle of one. Thanks for the pics us case boys gotta stick together.

thanks guys, I do custom cutting but as I am a one man show now I only use one machine at a time now but these shots were taken in 1999 running the best crop of wheat we ever raised on our south farm 475 acres averaged 78 bushel per acre, these ole girls were not really designed to cut this kind of BPA with the largest of headers as they have but I must say they did a great job, very little loss and almost no dockage I was filled with pride at the job they did

thank you, as to the quick atttach heads, Case was in the proccess of adding that to their machines but the decision was made in 1970 to drop combines to concentrate on being the tractor specialist's, we along with many others dealer;s thought it was a mistake but was not our call to make, the last machine they had ready to market had many features that todays machines still use and was or would have given Case a real step up on the compition of the day, now the chaff on the 960 rear axle, I was cleaning out another building a few weeks back and found buried a few sacks of grass seed the mice had made a mess of so I ran it through the machine where it sits to clean the undesireables out, this machine had a optional alpha sieve that works well on grass seed so well it is drill ready straight from the bin, and I threw in one more shot of two of my 960's again in 1999 the man looking for our grain trucks is my uncle John who was really enjoying running combine again for the first time since 1959

The only Case I ever saw was an early sidehill that had rack leveling. It was at an auction too far away but I dreamed of bringing it home. Years later I was able to bring in a couple of Masseys from not far away, they met their death in the salt air here. There might be one or two down the the road. It would be worth building a barn for one to live in. They want so darn much for a sack of seed oats now, it is from somewhere else and not too good. I always liked growing grain but it was never worth anything when I grew it.
