I don't miss it. Was just saying I saw something change from the update, today. Never saw that on other forums, they all have pages. I tried to make the change when I first came back here but was never able to find anywhere to change it. Or I did find out, tried to do it but no change. I have slept since then. I am not complaining, just posting to show how it is for me. I came back because of the changes from the old mess. All was good until these last changes. I am not blaming anyone as I was just logged out of another forum 5 minutes ago. Things happen. 2 other forums I check weekly have been having a lot of problems with being logged out AND being very slow for weeks to a month or longer. But, there is a lot more communication....James

Same here, well sort of. None on my phone, got one on my work laptop when I got there. I walked down to the IT guys office, he took care of it. I said "sorry" to which he replied... "oh it wasn't the site you were on, no worries".

I don't know how chromebooks work as compared to other windows devices - I am allergic to google. But I would suspect that there is something in your system settings that is overriding it. On my desktop PC, it is under system ---> personalization ---> colors ---> "choose your mode". If that is not currently set to dark (assuming these instructions are valid on a chromebook), try changing it to dark and see if that works.

As far as I know, the answer is no, it would only change software that is setup for that option to begin with.

My computer was receiving ads when I opened YT tractors then I installed Adblocker & the ads vanished.

PS: I don't just like it, I like it a LOT. You said in another post "be careful what you wish for." Well, I wished for this, and I am thrilled with the result.

Sorry to hear it. There are ways to deal with that stuff. I personally had no new issues with the change, as everything you mentioned was already under control on my system. I wish you'd give it another chance for people here to guide you through fixing the issues, but of course, it's your call. I for one will miss your posts if you choose to leave.

On my Linux ran Operating System with an ages old Mozilla browser, all I can say is thank you!
(That should really confuse some).
