Small semi tractor

I am looking for a small semi tractor, something with an allison and single screw, any suggestions? Thanks Animal

When I was a mechanic for a circus in the 1970's they used C60 Chevy's. They had gas engines and air brakes and single drive axle. Any medium duty truck with air brakes can have the bed removed and a fifth wheel installed instead.

depends on how heavy a truck you need, a c60 or 70 will work or if you need something heavier look on truckpaper.com, if you get air brakes you will need a cdl too

Get a truckpaper and look through it. Also snoop around websites for companies like Yellow, Roadway, FedEx, UPS etc., see if they have anything for sale. I know R&L always has trucks sitting down to Wilmington OH for sale.

There's what appears to be an ex-Central Freight Lines tractor sitting on the west side of South Clear Creek Rd in Killeen, TX with $2800 painted on the windshield.

There is a tractor like you want in Ector Tx, It is a V8 Chevrolet with air brakes. Runs good and I beleive it is priced reasonable. Email me and I will get a phone number for you and more details. Albert

There's a c/70 in Ca. on Craigslist for 2600 dollars it had a 427 allison and air brakes it looked really good according to the pics posted. I have tried to search for it to send it to you but I had no luck. If I do come across it I'll post it.
