Small time collector

Hi all, new here to forum.
Started collecting MH after I found one local that was dragged outa storage and left out in the field. Hope I can ask few questions from time to time. I'm not looking at ever selling them, but want to get them running so I can enjoy them. Figure if I have them they won't get in scrap metal pile somewhere.
So far they are free but all have been sitting for few years.

Hi again, didn?t have any solid info on tractors with me till I got back home. I am located in north east
Saskatchewan so I am taking a guess that all tractors are built in North America.
Can someone tell me where I can look up the serial numbers to learn all the info on these so I can post
accurate specs for everyone to see. I went out and wrote down the serial numbers now just need to
know where to look them up.

Masseys were quite popular in Western Canada, should be no problem finding parts.
The WD9, while not part of the MH family, were a pretty good tractor as well.

Now here is where I?m confused about rest, what year and where it was built.

I can post rest of my tractor serial numbers but I feel I should learn to read them myself some how.

crtrucker....you were sent an answers to some of your requests. Read the info I sent you on this this forum.

Look at the serial # INFO: Is your Tractor MF 35 made in England or the USA? (note pictures).

Then look at the serial number list. You'll be able to tell the year your Tractor was manufactured:

If your Tractor looks like the picture of a MF 35 made in England.....as 99% of Canadian MF 35 3 cylinders were made in England......then your MF 35 Serial # shall be in the list that corresponds to the respective picture:

So I guess with john Deere d's explanation
I have a 1963 massey ferguson 35 tractor that was built in England.

My 81 shows serial number of 426172 81s and in tractor data the final number is 406601. Here I am stumped again.

Canada seen hundreds of these beauties arrive..

You may have noticed. There were 38 HP as well as 44 HP models arrive in Canada.

There were Type"A" and type "B" Tachometers, depending on the gearing of the PTO / Transmission and HP rating of the Tractor.

NOTE STND. PTO was achieved at a different Engine RPM depending on your model...38 HP or 44 HP...

These MF 35s from Coventry England command a premium at Auctions no matter their condition, here in Northern Alberta and British Columbia.

Yours has the remote HYD controls.......

I think my "35" has same "clutch latch", I figured it out once what it's for but until I get home I'm drawing a blank
