snow plow blade

I just picked up an 8" blade & I want to be able to mount it on my quick-attach loader on my tractor. I know that I can purchase steel plates to weld on it, but I would like to somehow make it angle. Any ideas out there on how to manufacture a way for it to angle??? Pics are very much appreciated! Thanks.

I just bought a skid steer snow plow that hooked up to my quick attach and it came with power angle cylinders made onto it. I got a 9' set up for $1,100.00 plus shipping

A straight moldboard with no rigging? Angling can be done like a snowplow pushframe or like a rear blade style.

If you don't need to angle, box the ends to make a push blade, very nice for a lot of applications. Not good on long straight pushes.

Your biggest problem is that a 8 foot blade at an angle will tend to push the front of the tractor off to the side and off the road. I took a straight blade like that and turned it into this. I also have pictures of how it is mounted to the bucket of the loader

If you are pushing rather then pulling then it is best not to hook it up like a rear blade with no springs. If it is on a big enough tractor it will break something.
