Soft center round baler

Is there any other round baler beside Owatana that makes a soft center. Old cows sure like the soft center but they are hard to move with a bale spear and don't stay round very long.

I have a M&W. They stay round until the cows eat them. Other brands of soft core balers are Krone,Claas,John Deere,CaseIH,Mchale and New Idea.

Check into KRONE round balers. They bale a soft core bale except for the last 18 inchs of the bale its tight has a banjo string to help shed water and they keep there shape.

CLAAS.
You won't have any trouble starting bales with it either unless you're pushing it right to the limit of it's capacity. I've got an old 44s and the only quirk is that you slow down a bit until the bale starts to spin...
They tend to be a tad expensive for someone only doing a small amount of work tho.

I have a Vermeer 604K. I lost air preasure to the bags and didn"t realize it for 4 bales. It worked fine and the core was soft to a diameter of 10-12 inches. The rest of bale was good and tight.

John Deere has a kit you can add to a baler to make soft centers or cores. It is also adjustable as to how large you want the soft core.

Also helps to start the bale in some conditions.

Simplest balers that are soft center are the OMC/Gehl balers. I have personally put over 8,000 through a 590. Just got done making 310 of first crop.
