Some Case equipment

Was at a salvage yard to get a cab door for a tractor I'm working on and thought I would snap a few pictures of some Case tractors or what's left of them soaking up the Eastern Oregon sun.

Wow that is a lot. The tires and rims seem to go really fast. It would be nice if that mfd 90 series would get repaired and back to work.

Wow!! Interesting how 1 man's treasure is another mans junk. One of our newest tractors is a '94 Series, and I see some in there. At least they are not on a slow boat to China.

Is this one of the All States Ag Parts yards? The yard people should be keeping all of the sheet metal up of the damp ground before it is
ruined by rust.

You should post the name of the yard as I have heard that cab components for 2470/2670 tractors are hard to come by elsewhere. I know of somebody that was looking for a LH cab door and finally gave up and did "the best that they could do" in fixing the old one.

It does bring tears to my eyes.....thought keep running thru my mind oh the humanity!!! The way some of the tractors are picked over, were there buzzards circling?

If were possible It would be interesting to know the maintenance history of those units to know the hours and how many just failed or were abused. I see several brands there.

Nyssa Tractor

It's near Ontario,Oregon "the onion capitol of the world".

NyssaTractor, they have acres of tractors and farm equipment. No relation to All States Parts. I?ve been there a few times. Not much in older vintage tractors

Who took the decals off of the 70's in the first photo? Must be a high demand for used decals in Oregon.

Yes, it seems sad to me, they have all become donors. But I guess they will keep the others moving. Thanks for posting, in many ways its amazing

Seeing tractors in salvage yards doesn't make me sad.

Seeing tractors (and machinery) in scrap yards does.

How many more tractors would meet an early demise if salvage parts couldn't be found for them. It's true, each tractor there has a story to tell, but as long as it's there, the story isn't over yet.

It would, on the other hand make me sad if I saw a 1090 golden demo there, and it was a salvage yard that wouldn't sell a complete unit outright. Then I would be sad. Very sad. The saddest person you've ever seen. Believe me.
