I was out of options this morning so I went to my CIH dealer for a new sediment bowl. To my delight it was made in the USA and worked perfectly. The shut off turns very smoothly and it looks exactly like the old, probably original, one. One problem, the outlet was a different size so I had to buy an adapter fitting. The parts man warned me about that and said the larger sediment bowl would have the correct size. Maybe we will find more quality USA made parts in the future.

Dave, I guess I've been lucky, the
sediment bowls I've bought from tractor
supply have worked great. I have also used
dozens of gaskets and screens from there,
for the original sediment bowls we
rebuild. We have a couple drawers full of them, happy to send a few home with you, if y'all stop by!
