something that should be required here

Why do you worry about the bashing. Those people who do that are weak and probably dont own a tractor or compete in anyway. Go to the good pulls and have fun. When I was at Wauseon I couldnt even weight my tractor by myself I hurt my shoulder at work. The guys I was pulling against came over and weighted my tractor for me. Those are good people and you never have problems with people like that. Everything always works out in the end. Dont worry about what people say about you just do your best and pull what you can afford. Just My opinion.

Try not to let it bother you. I was taught two good sayings.
If they make you that mad and upset, you think way to much of them.
Never argue with an idiot. They will try to drag you down to their level and will beat you with years of experience

I wouldn't read into the nay sayers too far, if all a guy has is (to run another down), they don't have much goin' for them. As for the times I'm called an A-hole, I promptly correct them that it's MR A-hole, and that they've instigated the conversation/arguement etc. My two cents. Thanks for reading. Beg my 'pard.

My Dad has always said if they talk that much about you they must be jealous! This forum does make for some interesting reading during the winter months!

HEY remember we are out there to have a good time. If you take a tractor that you built or don't have much money and beat somebody who has a big tractor with a big investment they don't like it. I learned a long time ago that on any day you can get beat by any tractor. That's what makes it fun. I know we are a long drive for you but come to West Alton are any of Mahnke pulls and you will have a good time. We pull to have fun and help one another any way we can. When we hook to sled we are going to do our best to win but if we get beat we still had fun. If you want a Mahnke schedule send me your address and I will send one to you this spring.

The nature of motor sports we all are competitive and still want to have fun. Look at nascar or any sport. It makes for good TV. In this case it makes for good reading, and you might learn something about some business practices or somebody's true colors. Wife says we are a bunch of kids that forgot to grow up. I say lets be kids as long as we can. Don't forget to have fun :-} that's why I do this, not to get rich that's for sure. Hope to see all my friends at the track, soon as I get this tractor back together. Cabin fever has set in.

Hi
Yeah they really don't like it if they get beat by a Belarus. What a guy would call one of those "price less " moments.
Regards Robert

The best way to deal with it is laugh about it and Don't worry about it. I remember a while back someone was really on me and Randy Babbitt no matter what and we just laughed about it and they got tired of making fools of themselves and it stopped. Call me anything but call me for dinner.LOL

Anyone that has been on these forums for a few years knows it's "Cabin Fever". Happens every year about this time. The best response is none to those who try to belittle others. It's hard to do though. t's just like CB, it's easy to hide behind a mic or keyboard with a computer.
