Source for plow bolts

I need a dozen 3/8-16 x 3" plow bolts and have not been able to find a source that sells smaller quantities. I really [i:ee59b56f4d]don't[/i:ee59b56f4d] need 470 bolts. :)

I've searched Google and found a few places with 2" long bolts in my size but no 3" long bolts.

Anyone know who sells a larger selection of plow bolts?

I've had no trouble locating small quantities here . If you can't find any let me know & I can check here for you .But I've bought plow bolts for my snowplows & 3 pt lows .God bless, Ken

Try your local John Deere Dealer, they should have them. The part # is 10H1070 it is a 3/8X 3" plow bolt course thread in a grade 5 hardness. They list at $1.15 each. This bolt also has 1" of threads, in other words it "is not fully threaded!!!" if that is what you need. Also this is not a "clipped head" plow bolt if that matters.

If you don't have a local tractor dealer/supply type joint, try a local industral supply type place. There is a place here calle "Park Machine and Supply" that I go to buy #80 chain, about half the price of the tractor dealers sell it for and comes off the same spool. Was in there one day and they had tapper headed grade 8 bolts. They were half the price I had been pay'n for plow bolt. Got a few, they fit and worked. Been buy'n them there since.

Good luck.

Dave
