BEEN LOOKING FOR REPLACEMENT TIE ROD RUBBER BOOTS TO KEEP THE DIRT OUT OF THE GREASE ETC. NAPA DOES NOT HAVE ANY FOR THE SIZE OF HEAVY TRUCKS. FORD AND INTERNATIONAL DEALERSHIPS DO NOT HAVE ANY, ONE PARTS MAN SAID IN 30 YEARS IN PARTS NEVER SAW A REPLACEMENT BOOT. PURCHASE THE ENTIRE TIE ROD END NEW. DOES ANY ONE KNOW OF A SOURCE/SUPPLIER OF REPLACEMENT TIE ROD END BOOTS?

i aint seen replacements since the early 70's...was working at Globe Auto Repair and their scam at the time was selling tie rod rebuilds...it was a spring and a boot that took up slack in worn tie rod ends...i cant tell you how many popped the ball out with that little extra tension...i refused to install em...no wonder i got canned lol
you mite check with JC Whitney...thats the only place i know of that would even have a clue what youre talking about

Try this it may work better than the boots and cheaper too. http://www.instructables.com/id/Poor-mans-tie-rod-end-or-ball-joint-boot/

I work for an international truck dealer and they still offer dust covers for tie rods. May want to find another dealer.
