ya'll have fun. The "This Side Up" SMTA will be there, but The Bulldog is having to pass on this one. I want to give a 'certain' LP Oliver a better chance for 1st (-:

your so thoughtfull but at edmunds i will be giving him a run in all his class's, had to dig out another green one to get down that low. got to go get some fuel though.

George, as an avid fan of tractor pulling, I am shocked as to the sudden rules changes for super. I came to watch the big boys with the Molines and Masseys and the M's pull super and you throw a 7mph limit on them? Why did yall not post that in your rules to save me and lots of others time and money? That is a real head scratcher with the lack of tractors you had to begin with. I will not be returning, but I wish you had let everyone know before today.

moline sam, I think you are the owner of the big moline that I was looking forward to watching today. Please post a note letting us fans know where we can come and watch the big GVI run. That tractor is what the fans come to see. I hope other local clubs wise up and continue to be generous with the rulemaking so that you guys can continue to run. About 5 minutes watching 3mph stockers is enough to last a lifetime, but I would watch you guys run those GVI'S and Masseys all day.

Make the rules clear.3rd gear I believe it was.I think this is the down fall.Every pull seems to change the rules.Thought super was pretty much run what you brung.Very disapointing because I don't think anyone who loves antique tractor pulling more than my father. Economy is already bad, make a few more rules and no one will show up.

Now you have me confused? What are you talking about? The super class at Sunny Plain stated 3rd gear with no limits on speed. That has been the rule for super here forever. Some clubs do have different super classes, but when you have a handful of tractors show up, you need a super class that includes everyone. SC farmer is right, with this economy, we are a few more "rules changes" away from putting the lid on antique tractor pulling.

Hey SC farmer, I assume that your father runs the big gold moline I went to see yesterday. The way that machine runs, he is likely to see new rules everywhere he goes. Maybe he should try painting it a different color every few pulls? I saw him pull last year several times, and I saw him pull once this year at Aiken, and I do believe he has caught another gear this year.

we pull with moline sam and he has a good pulling gvi. he can pull 7 mph easy but usally alittle faster than that. i have seen it myself.

Obviously confused, the GVI we are talking about pulls 3rd or 4th gear at 12 to 15 mph. Even the super M'S and oliver 88's pull faster than 7 mph in a super class.

You need to get your facts straight before making such a statement. You must be a member of the Sunny Plains Pedal Pull Club.I will never come back to such a joke of a pull. Its such a shame Otis is a great person.

I don't think they care if you can pull 20 mph, the sled they use was not built for that kind of pulling. Sure you can go to Edmund, Aiken, Ga ect.. but look at the difference in the sleds and the way they are built. Dont be so hard on Sunny Plain, I think they just didnt want a problem that would cause them not to have any tractors pull. I think something like this happened at Richland Creek also. These tractors have come along way by means of Hp,Rpm and Mph so they are strong enough to tear some stuff up.Mr Sam I hear the big Moline is really rolling now. Hope to see you soon. Ricky W

Ricky, missed you at edmund today.Don't mean to be hard on Sunny Plains but when Molinesam shows up early on Friday to pull tell him the sled can't handle the speed or hp etc don't wait until Saturday. If he wanted to ride a tractor he had plenty to do, and that is just what he did.Came home and sprayed corn.No hard feelings.

S C FARMER can you ask molinesam if he can shoot me a email. i need to ask him a question about the starter on the uts. i need to get the number off it and see if i can get one to put on my U. thanks robbie

I came by Edmund but the pull was over. It looked like he had a pretty good crowd. I have not made a pull this year, every weekend one is going on there is always something else I have to do. When kids ballgames wind down hopefully things will level out. See ya soon, Keep Sam straight! Ricky W
