spark plug wiring

Ray.....you can get original plug wiring from nnalert already cut to length cheaper than you can buy the wire and make. don b

Ray.........unless yer a sphincterly challenged originality authority working on a museum displayed trailer queen, use MODERN silicon insulated copper core sparkie wire. Old fashioned cotton braided sparkie wires let the sparkies out inna'bout 2-yrs and yer tractor will be hard to start and will miss like crazy. .......respectfully, Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister

NAPA Premium spark plug wire kit is #700173. This is a kit to make up real wire conductor spark plug wires for up to 6 cylinders and a handful of wire boots. Doesn't matter to me, but FYI the wire jacket is a bluish color silicone. Recently had trouble with my local NAPA store admitting they still made them. Thank goodness I had saved the box from last year.

May be a slight price difference for the smaller set. NAPA P/N BEL 700172 is for a 4 cylinder.

Not sure how the straight spark plug ends would work due to possible interference with the fuel tank.

What is all this..about sparks flying everywhere if you have the factory installed cotton braided spark plug wires. Above you will see my '49 8N has the old cotton braided s/p wires, and from what I can tell, I have no "sparkies" jumping around under the gas tank.

BTW. Since this photo was taken I have removed the 12 volt alternator and when back to using my original generator. Although it is now converter to 12 volt generator. And I still have the 12 volt EI system with 12 volt voltage regulator and original wiring setup.
