Splitting my TO20

I have acquired my dad's 1950 TO20.
It has been sitting for several years.
I'm trying to split it to replace a stuck clutch. Yep, tried all the methods of trying to get it unstuck.
I've removed the cover plate and the starter. Lots of rust.
I cannot get the tractor to split. I fear the main shaft of the transmission is rusted to the clutch plate.
Any suggestions on how I can free it, or any other thoughts on what may be going on.

Respectfully, why would you remove the pto shaft? It"s driven by the transmission and has nothing to do with splitting the tractor for clutch work.

If I had that problem I would start by removing the starter switch and spray a considerable amount of kerosene on all of the clutch area. It will take a lot to actually get to the area that is stuck. I would raise one back tire and rotate it back and forth while in 4th gear. I would also use a wooden block and beat on the flywheel thru the starter hole. Might take a couple of days but repeat the kerosene. Alternate from one side of the tractor to the other when applying pressure to pry it apart. good luck

If splitting the tractor did you get all the bolts and nuts off?

I am going from memory hear so my counts may be off, but....

There are about 5 that hold on the lower cover plate under the engine behind the oil pan.

There are 3 or 4 on each side of the housing. (1 to 4 and 7 to 11 o'clock positions.

And there is one nut on a stud at 12:00... Did you get this one? See picture. It is tucked up under the battery and hard to see.

One you know the flange completely unbolted it sould come apart. Block the front end up and roll the back away.

If the flange is stubborn you can use a roller jack to bow the tractor slightly to work the joint free. Once all the bolts are out the only thing holding it together is the friction of the power shaft in the middle of the clutch and that stud at 12:00.

Yep, I did get all the bolts and nut.
I have the tractor split approx. 1/4", thats as far I can move it. I suspect, the 1/4" is flex in clutch disc?
Will try some of the suggestions presented to me in the replies I've received.
Thanks all, for the suggestions.

my MF35 sat long time with water in clutch housing, whole clutch assembly was rusted solid mass

removed inspection plate underneath and removed the 6 bolts holding pressure plate to flywheel, turn engine to get to various bolts

then used long sharp chisel to break plate away from flywheel, after it opened up front slid away and I could get to the rusty lump

support everything well before going underneath and wedge front axle so she doesn't roll over onto you, floor jack on wheels great for this job
