sprayer plumbing

I am putting together a 300 gallon sprayer with a manual control valve and centrifigal pump. I am using a teejet style control valve and would like to see a picture of how the pressure regulation is setup. Should it be part of the agitation line or setup on it's own return line? Any advice photographs of your setups would be great.

TeeJet used to have a WONDERFUL website, with LOTS of information and diagrams.

I haven't looked at it/for it for a couple of years, but if I were you I'd get on GOOGLE and see what I could pull up for that TeeJet website.

They have had all that information in there catalog and now should have it on there web site.

T off the pressure side of the pump before the controll for positive agitation then plumb the pressure adjust port to the suction/supply hose before the pump, some use the bypass for agitation but that is not the correct way.

That was considered the correct way when that sprayer was made and is still OK with some of the sprays but the other way is better.

I used the Tee Jet manual control on mine also, so some of the things in the attatched publication are not relevant. I used the bypass line from the TJ valve to feed my agitator. Used a simple gate valve to regulate the bypass, which adjusts the output pressure. No fancy throttling valves needed. Pressure gauge mounts right on top of the TJ valve body. I could try to get a picture tomorrow if I get home before dark.

Thanks for all the responses. Using a gate valve makes sense with the manual control. Most info that I have found online is for electric controls. I think I have it figured out but a picture would be nice.
