St. Matthews, SC Pull Dates Set for 2009

The Sunny Plain Antique Power Association (SPAPA)announces the dates of its 2009 pulls. The pulls will be on the first weekend in April (3-4-5-) and the third weekend in October (16-17-18). The pulling will start at Noon on Saturday and Sunday with a practice pull on Friday evenings at 6:00pm. More details to come closer to the pull dates.

the pull is in st. matthews s.c. near orangeburg sc. you can go to aikenfarmfest.com and look at their rules and they are pretty much the same. they only pull antique stock and antique super 1960 and older.

george what about the tractor show and events are they going to happening.

We are about half way between Columbia and Charleston. Sunny Plain is located approximately 8 miles west of St. Matthews off Hwy 176 (towards Columbia). From Columbia, take I-26 East to Exit 119, right on Hwy 176 for approximately 16 miles, left on Old Belleville Road.

Ricky, at this point I believe the spring event will be just an antique tractor pull. The fall will be the regular Antique Farm Festival with a tractor and auto show and farm auction in addition to the pull. At least that is the plan at this time.
