Steel to Rubber?

I just purchased an LA case on steel and would like to have it on rubber, was wondering if it is better cut the originals down or is there some cut-offs available as I like the spoked look. the picture of the tractor is on the photos page under LA CASE?

Find some factory rubber wheels or some that someone has already cut off, it would be a bona-fide shame to cut some off this late in the game.

I agree with the others. They will never make another set of steel wheels for that tractor and if they are half way good you NEED to save them. You should have little or no problem finding a set of wheels for rubber tires for that tractor

I saw the Picture of that tractor. The Steel you have is real good.

I would guess if you cut those down there would be a lynch mob out after you. Think I would join in.

Memory serves I answered your questions about price. If so The majority of the value I gave was the steel wheels.

If you want rubber you should be able to trade your stuck tractor on steel to someone who has a running one on rubber.

KEEP THE STEEL

I have a tractor on steel (and live in "town")...my solution was to buy a second tractor on rubber (2 JD Bs fit nicely in the "lawn mower" bay of my garage!)...

I've never seen an LA on full steel! That would be very rare up here in the plains!

That is such a common tractor you could find other wheels almost anywhere - at least out here - it would be a shame to cut up those wheels.

Out here, cutoffs really hurt the value of a tractor compared to the all original ones.
