steering shaft ball and nut

I have disassembled the nut and balls from the steering shaft on my late model 8n. I seem to have a problem getting all 60 new balls into the nut for assembly. Is the a method to doing this?

Glenn........would you believe regular chassis grease???

BTW, we recommend 2-tubes of STICKY John Deere corn head grease to fill yer rebuilt ballnut steering box. WHY? 'cuz the sticky grease will NOT LEAK like the recommended 90wt gear oil. ........Dell

(quoted from post at 01:27:21 12/22/11) I"m talking in reference to assembly of the steering shaft and the gear that rides on it.

Probably why the book says to not take it apart! :D That said, I always figure that if someone else put it together so can I. I took one apart but i don't remember having many problems putting it together. CRS these days!! Use grease to hold balls in place?
