still leaking oil

1955 TO-35 Z134 cont.engine, gas.I split the tractor a while back and replaced rear seal and gasket, still leaking oil into clutch housing, drained about a quart out of it,could it be the PLUG(2 1/8 expansion)? Any other suggestions? RUNNING OUT OF PATIENCE!

are you sure its engine oil and not trans.? is your drain hole in the bell housing open with a cotter key in it. if you replace the crank shaft seal what did the surface look like?

Gear oil has a distictive smell, this looks and smells like engine oil, plus no oil showing on dipstick and I had just filled it up,surface of block and crank looked good.Hole is open because fluid is coming out. Thanks for reply

Hate to say it... but you may have to split it again and see what's going on. If you're sure it's motor oil, the seal may not have taken after you installed it.

Either the rear main again, or the trans. There's no much else that could cause that condition.
