Strange issue??

In the last two weeks my 9N has done this twice. It died at lower engine speed so I figured I must must have done it. First time it fired up right away and I noticed the charge gauge pegged to the right. Then it went back to normal after about 30 seconds. Today it died but would not refire. I figured I had a little work ahead of me. After a few minutes I though what the heck try it again and it fired right up and I noticed the charge gauge pegged to the right again. This is a great running 12V conversion tractor I have had for 30 years and has never failed me. Still runnung good but just concerned it is telling me something.

I'm throwing out a WAG of fuel stoppage killed it.. then your restart drained the battery.. then the alt recharged it.. no great mystery there..there... after starting bat needs charging. don't take long with an alt and good bat..

at point of stall check spark.. if spark is ok.. move on to fuel..
