I have an old MF backhoe from the late 60"s. I think it is an MF 20 with an AD-203 perkins. It has the forward/reverse shifter on the left. Below the steering wheel it has a 1-2-3 shifter and also a Low and High selector.
My problem is it is stuck in high range. Even though it sounds like it physically shifts from low to high with the lever it just takes off in high no matter what. The 3 speed shift works fine and it shifts fine from reverse to forward alos. Although it does seem to fall out of reverse frequently. Any thoughts? Big Dean, you out there?
