Stuck spindle

I have a spindle that is stuck, its on a tractor that has a straight axle so removal is not an option. I have moved it some and now its soaking in penetrating oil. Any suggestions, I was thinking of maybe a bottle jack upside down maybe chained down or something like that, any suggestions appreciated.

What kind of tractor is it? I just pulled a spindle off and did not have it easy due to me not knowing there was a keway that I missed etc. Is it a 8n or ? Are you having problems getting the top apart? Devious

No its a Massey Ferguson 204,I have the bolt and key out. It has moved some just really tight.

Hi The one I took out was tight also but I just kept banging at it with a mallet and hammer back and forth till it came out. I did not know of any tricks . Devious

I sure messed up on my name. I started typing where my ID info was and ended up with a long ness instead of just Devious. I guess old age is getting a bigger hold on me than I realize each day. Hope I don t get thrown out of the YT group for being a Klutz once in a while.
