sun shades

My question is if anyone has an oponion[ need i ask ]seriously i am looking at a fiberglass sun shade that mounts to the roll bar, seems fairly sturdy but not ROPS replacment of course.
But are there any problems like engine/tranny noise being noticable more than usual? awkward to get on/off the machine with it on?
etc etc. The tractor is a Case D40/DX40 series if someone has a similar unit?
Also a price range if possible, looking a 5 big ones for a new old stock [1 year] unit.

Look up Westendorf mfg Onawa Ia. They make loaders and sun shades.

I can't say about fiberglass sun shades, but we've got a ROPs/canopy on our Oliver 1855. While it does keep in more of the tranny noise, it's still a whole lot better than cooking in the hot sun. I wear earplugs everytime I'm on it, whether it's to go 200 ft. or all day.

Now I've kinda been looking for one to fit onto our Massey 285 because that's the other one we use all the time in the feild for longer hours.
